Now a popular diet plan I’ve seen among men is the low carb diet plan. Let’s face it, a lot of men are more attached to meats than women are, and so the idea of eating all the fat we can get into our bodies and just cutting out something like carbs that seems so inconsequential is appealing. Plus some of us actually do it anyway, because we want to build up muscle, and obviously meat has tons of protein which is the building block of muscle in general.
So we do this for the greater purposes. But this being said, they have developed new types of low carb diets, because quite frankly they have found that really the original low carb diet was horrible for the heart according to every medical professional besides Dr Atkins, that’s a simple fact of life, an unfortunate one really. They have basically cut us down to only lean meats and fish and then they have introduced back in some carbs, which is easier, because honestly not eating fruits or vegetables is not only bad for you, it’s extremely hard. And even bad carbs, I mean not eating pizza, even the meat lovers, it’s not as appealing as you may originally think. Still, this kind of diet isn’t really for everybody. But it can certainly work for some of us and it’s a popular male diet.
